i see that you live in bkk, me and two of my friends are going there for a five day vaca this august… can you give us tips on places to see and places that we need to go to, to really experience the culture and the “life” in bkk… thanx in advance…

Hello dave. Here are some of my tips then—
- Firstly, which area in Bkk you & you’re friends are planning to stay? If you haven’t decided yet, I suggest you go to MBK area as there are a lot of budget hotels/inns there. Many revelers also stay at Kao San area. There are also a lot of gay clubs/disco houses there and not to forget to mention some areas for sexual workers again.
- If you want to go and experience the go-go boy shows or you want to witness a live sex show on the ceiling…yes, they do it on the ceiling seriously & literally!…go to Patpong. Take a BTS and get off at Sala Daeng station which is also known as Silom lane. Once you get-off, you will see a lot of stalls there selling a variety of merchandise from fashionable clothes to sex videos to accessories and etc. etc…Now, there are two streets in Patpong: one for “sushi” aka p*ssy street and the other side for the “hotdogs & eggs” aka “d*cks & b*lls” street in which you have to walk a bit further. There are also sexual workers behind the Robinson’s Mall, just be careful again.
- If you want to go to sauna/bathouse, there are a lot here actually. If you’re trip is young, Thai guys, I suggest you go to Muffil Sauna located at Soi Ladprao 113. Another one is Chakarn, you can take a BTS & get off at Ari station (note that this area is also known as “gay area” according to my local friends here). If you want muscled guys, go to Tawan Sauna. If you want a mixed of Thai and mostly farangs/foreigners, go to Babylon.
- You can check all these establishments and “stuff” that I mentioned in the internet. Otherwise, I can be your tourist guide for a “reasonable fee” hehehe…
So that’s all for now. My internet wasn’t working when I arrived home yesterday (Monday evening) and it’s now 2:07 am of 30th June 2009 as of this writing. As promised, here are two more frame grabs of Aries Pena (the one above and the other one below) taken from the actual film of Auraeus Solito’s, “BoY” who will have a screening at Victoria Theatre in San Francisco, US of A today (27 June 2009) at 4:15 pm.
What else do we expect from this movie? “There’s a long “romantic” love/sex scene between the boy and his macho-dancer pickup boyfriend, and a realistic conclusion that the low-life rent-boy and his middle-class newbie were not fated to last,” states 
Speaking of Aieous and as mentioned earlier, Solito will change the screen name of this Creative Writing Major from UP. From the hard-to-pronounce (and perhaps to recall) Aieous, for local purposes, he will be baptized as ADAM “AIEOUS” ASIN! That’s right folks! So by the time this movie will be ready for screening in Manila, you will hear the name Adam Asin more. And it’s not just the name. Aieous/Adam’s performance was sighted as sensitive and subtle a la

Now that’s really something. And aren’t we all loving Aries yet?
On the other hand, the other star Aieous Asin, will soon be “renamed” for local screen naming purposes. What will be his new name? Well, just hang-on for awhile and come back a bit later.
